What is the story you're telling yourself about this discovery?

People talk about being "authentic" and "vulnerable" all the time these days, yet there has to be a reason for sharing these vulnerable truths. I have learned that it's important to first Be Real...meaning come from a place of truth, no hiding anything. Next, I Get Raw...meaning I allow my emotional reality to be fully seen. Third, I Stay Relevant...meaning I only share my truth as it relates to getting what I am after. All together, this way of being authentic yet focused allows me to generate results.

Describe the single word feelings that arise for you when you tell yourself that story?

Focused

Describe the specific thoughts and actions that arise for you when you tell yourself this story?

I think that I must start Being Real with the people who come into my orbit. Instead of being what I think people want me to be, I will instead just be myself. No acting, no hiding who I really am. In short, no more people pleasing.

This discovery shows me the three-tiered authentic way of communicating and connecting. I must Be Real, Get Raw, and Stay Relevant in order to get the results I want.
