Disappointments Are Gifts

May 30, 2022
During your study of Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich, you read the following: p.33 “You have been disappointed, you have undergone defeat, you have felt the great heart within you crushed until it bled. Take courage, for these experiences have tempered the spiritual metal of which you are made—-they are Assets of incomparable value. I discovered that disappointments harden your heart and are important because they show you that you are stronger than you thought. Heartache teaches you a lot. It feels like you are dying. Later, you feel numb. Finally though, you begin to feel like yourself again and you find the courage to Love again.

You feel this specific discovery was significant because sometimes you feel like you're too broken to be fixed. Sometimes you feel like you're too far gone from who you were supposed to become. Hill reminds you that “all who succeed in life get off to a bad start and pass through many heartbreaking struggles before they “Arrive””...You must remember not to lose Hope. Hill further says the turning point in the lives of those who succeed usually comes at the moment of some crisis, through which they are introduced to their “Other Selves.”

Start to see your heartbreaking business failures as Assets. Your failures in Business are Assets. Your failures in business have shown you what doesn’t work.

Use Crisis and past business Failures to meet your Other Self.
